Winter Is Coming

I've been back on the winter hat crocheting habit. So far I've made this on for my daughter which she loves (please excuse the potty we're training!)

I crocheted it from the bottom up, checking it fit her with the first round. After I'd finished the pink hat it needed a motif so I added a flower design!

I'm very please with the result!

Rainbow Jumper

I've been busy making this rainbow jumper for my toddler. With Autumn coming I thought I should make her something brigh, colourful and warm. Crocheted with acrylic yarn and a 5mm hook it's chunky and lovely. Every time she sees it she says "my wainbow jumper" she loves it!

Toddler skirts

Recently I've been working on making my own toddler skirt pattern. I think I've finally mastered it!

Before the dreaded end-weaving stage

Knitted in the round a thick band of K2 P2 makes up the waistband then it's knitted in stockineete with a few increases until I reach the desired length.

Then I got to teach myself how to do ruffled edging, which is tons easier than I'd expected. I was so pleased with the green one I made a rainbow one too!
