Well, not really a yarn drought, but a project drought. I'm at a bit of a loose end knowing what to make, recently I've been making teddy bears, knitted ones adn I would post pictures but as usual the PC for posting pictures is occupied by the Other Half and prising him from the chair is far too much effort.
Recently I've been struggling to find an inspiring project, this in turn puts me in a bad mood as I'm not the kind of person that can just sit and watch TV. So I'm on the hunt for projects that are enjoyable to knit or crochet. Does anyone out there have any old favourites? Any suggestions? I need help to get my knitting mojo back!!

I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but here it's the perfect crisp cool weather that inspires autumn knits. How about a quick little vest, with a bit of fair isle or lace or cables, for interest?
Hi Yoel,
Yes it is getting cool here too. I might have a look on Ravelry for a simple beginner vest pattern. I've never had a go at Cables so it might be the perfect project to try.
Thanks for the suggestion!

A cabled vest seems a very good idea. There must be some out there at ravelry. I know there are for kids as I made one for my son a couple of years back.
Thanks Umme, I'll browse on Ravelry, but I do usually get lost for days on there with all the patterns to choose from!!
